Galaxy S8 Snapdragon 835 Or The Exynos Variants

Which one to buy ?

GSMArena ran a series of benchmarks on the two models yesterday and the prognosis isn't good for Snapdragon chips. The Exynos variants of the Galaxy S8 outpaced their Snapdragon counterparts in almost every performance-related category. The Snapdragon S8 was even outperformed by older smartphones in certain tests, including the Huawei Mate 9 and, in one case, the Galaxy S7 Edge.

But the bad news doesn't stop there for US-based Galaxy fans. Phone Arena ran another test to see how the two variants performed when it came to battery life, and the Snapdragon-powered variant lost again. In their endurance test, Phone Arena found that the Exynos S8 lasted a full 8 hours and 22 minutes, while the Snapdragon model only lasted 7 hours and 30 minutes — that's more than a 10% difference.

This will likely displease US Samsung fans that are waiting for their S8s. Not only are other parts of the world getting the same phone, they're getting a better version of it in almost every regard.

Here are the few benchmark results :
The Galaxy S8 with Snapdragon 835 lasted 7 hours and 30 minutes on our battery test, while the Exynos 8895 model went on almost an hour longer, for 8 hours and 22 minutes.

We can say that the Samsung S8/S8+ Snapdragon Variant is quite not upto the mark compared to the Samsung's own Exynos Variant !
